Located in the heart of Jakarta, Meinhardt’s latest project – Mega Kuningan, is a keystone project in the Kuningan area redevelopment

The mixed use development will have hospitality, residential, commercial and retail elements, offering a fully integrated and luxurious living experience. Expected to complete in 2015, Mega Kuningan comprises two towers rising from a common podium to an overall height of 212metres with the provision for five stories of basement parking. Meinhardt was appointed as the MEP engineering consultant for this prime development project. One of the project requirements was to plan and design the MEP systems for the development’s three main functions – hotel, residential and apartment in such a way that they were independent of one another.

This allows for the development to be owned and operated separately upon completion. Another requirement was to design the MEP infrastructure systems such that they can cater for a broad range of applications and demands, empowering the end user with a high degree of flexibility in the use of spaces.

Unique Features

  • Fully automated-self learning MEP systems which conserve energy and provide occupants a high level of comfort.
  • One of the highest outdoor swimming pools in Asia at 202.5m high.
