Construction of Terminal Building ceremonial lounge and associated works at Vijayawada Airport’ is New a Passenger Terminal Building with General Aviation Lounge located within Vijayawada Airport area to provide international standard facility to the passenger. This terminal will cater growing demand of passenger 7.5 Lacs passenger / year in 2025-26.

The New Terminal building has two approach roads from North-west side, these roads providing access to the terminal building for Local passenger and another road providing direct access to the VIPs to General Aviation Lounge Building. In South direction along access road to Terminal building there are parking area with 10 Bus parking bay, 255 Car Parking Bay & 208 Two Wheeler parking (Approx.) to facilitate passengers.

New Terminal building development will have GRIHA-THREE STAR rating in sustainability development.

The design comprises of an iconic liner Ground + First floor Building of Passenger terminal & General Aviation Lounge. Ground floor of Terminal building having Check in counter area, security holds area & arrival lounge. First floor consists of airlines offices & building services area.

The total built-up area for the development is 13,000 sq.m.
